ATTACKED AND ROBBED
ELDERLY WORKING MAN

AUCKLAND, This Day.
A man walking home with his wages in his pocket -tyus brutally assaulted and robbed in New Lynn about 7 o'clock last night. Ho was Harry Davis, aged 60, and employed by the Public Works Department in the country. The attack was mado by two men from behind when ho'1 was.; within a hundred yards of his home. One dragged him on the footpath on his face while the other relieved him of £16.
