IS IT A HOAX ?

FEATURED IN PRESS

REPORT FROM ROME

(Received 19th June, 11 a.m.)

LONDON, 18th June,

The invitation to Mrs. Stopes is featured in the evening papers, but it appears to be a hoax. Mrs. Stopes, interviewed, affirmed definitely that she had received an invitation. The "Daily Telegraph's" Bomo correspondent, however, cabled: "Invitation is hoax. If she confirms it she herself is hoaxed." The correspondent adds that any such action would be illegal iv Italy.
