The brido- wore deep parchment satin, with an exquisite Brussels wil and-.-ye'ry lpng train of brussels net. Her sister was.,chief bridesmaid;, she wore apricot georgette, long; and tight--fitting, with .a 'littie? short velvet coat .with a flared .'basque. Tliese1 short velvet coats are'verjr much in the mode for weddings;. tHey: are picturesque, and at the same time, they give warmth, on chilly days^.'-fThero were. ;two: little' bridesmaids, Marigold, daughter of Lord and Lady" Hilliiigdoii, , and Koßalind, daughter of-Lady .Vietoßia Forester. They also wore apricot georgette, made to their ankles. The bride has received many wonderful presents,: including several from royalty; a platinum chain with a pendant of diamonds :-ahd rubies .was sent from-:the King:'and Queen; a beautiful Sheraton -table from Princess Mary; !an old walnut clock from Princess Victoria, and a lovely old fashioned silver tea caddy from Princess Helena Victoria.
