"ART IN NEW ZEALAND"

It is good to hear from the Editors themsolvcs that the service being rendered to our artist's and writers is' to be maintained at full strength. To quote from the editorial reference: ". . . the future continues to extend to the enterprise a comradely hand. There is a suggestive article (an interview with Mr. Christopher Perkins) on "Tho Temple of the Muses." M7iVliam Moore, one of Australia's pioneers in Bepertory, writes cogently on "Local Drama." Alan Miilgan vignettes the work of Eaith Searle Grossman sympathetically, and "Artificers in Precious Metals" (illustrated) should interest our artscraftsnien in especial. Among the verso are two sets from a New Zealand .poet now resident in California —Dora Hagemeyer, -whoso two sets reveal flashes of rare fragile beauty. A charming short story by Helena Henderson, a London letter and notes on art activities from Australia and the Dominion's chief ccntros 'assist to enhance the merits of the current number.
