BURGLARY DENIED

YOUNG MAN AND FLAT (By Telegrapb.-r-Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 12th June. Arrested last evening on. a charge' of breaking and entering the dwelling of Pay Cooper, and stealing furniture, bedding, and clothing of a value of £75, Charles Henry Frederick Pillow, aged 22, motor mechanic, appeared in the Police Court to-day. Detective-Sergeant Kelly obtained a remand. In asking for bail, Pillow said that he did not break and enter a flat. "Anyway, her sister owed me a debt of £10," said the accused. "As soon as I saw in the paper yesterday that it was reported as a burglary, I went straight and saw a solicitor about it." Bail of £100 was allowed.
