OLD GIRLS' DANCE
SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION
The Kolburn Kiosk, with its gailydecorated walls and bright lights, presented a very festive appearance on Saturday evening, when a dance arranged by the Sacre Coeur Old Givls' Association was held. The room was crowded with dancers, and the closod-in verandah was arranged with small tables, where an attractive home-made supper was served. An exhibition dance was given during the evening by Miss Gwenethe Walsho and Mr. J. M'Cosker. The committee, whoso arrangements proved very successful, comprised Misses Eileen Goodson (president), who' wore a frock and coatee of cameo pink moire; Eileen M'Carthy (secretary), leaf green lace frock and coatee; Patricia Clayton, black georgette; Mary M'Evedy, beige lace; Flori ence Fitzgerald, geranium red georgette; Angela Perry, black panne velvet and tulle; and Mayo Burke, palest pink satin. Among others present were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Short; Misses M. Euttcr (who wore tomato red mariette), D. Hadfield (floral chiffon), E. Chapman (palest pink tulle), S. Kennedy (patterned chiffon), K. Goodson (green and black floral chiffon), K. Taylor (primrose taffeta) j P. M'Evedy (sprigged taffeta), S. Todd (black with touches of pink), E. Hegarty (powder blue georgette), K. Kennedy (black satin), J. Eyan (powder blue georgette), M. Goodson'(primrose taffeta), A. Addison (apricot organdie), A. Dillon (blue taffeta), P. Beeves (floral chiffon), M. Dillon (floral taffeta), P. Kerruish (black lace), G. Walshe (ivory lace), B. Wylie (water green satin), M. Morton (black chiffon velvet), B. Fitzgerald (blue georgette), S. Morton (green mariette), K. Fagan (powder blue georgette), N. Bright (black satin), I. Fagan (red georgette), M. Preshaw (green with touches of gold), P. Matthews (blue lace), M.
