EXPERIMENT IN FRANCE
PARIS, 23rd May. The creation of artificial fog to protect towns and villages in war-time is now regarded as a practical proposition. In the presence of Marshal Pcta.ni, the whole village of Linselles, near Lille, was blotted out for half an hour from air and land. ■ . The cost of the preparation will be small, and communities will be able to. make their own protective smokescreens.
