A COMMEMORATIVE TABLET
At yesterday morning's service at the 'Vivian Street Baptist Church a brass tablet presented to the choir by Mrs. H. Wilton, commemorative of the services rendered by a long list o£ choirmasters and organists, was unveiled. The Rev. W. S. Rollings preached from Psalm xxvii., 6th verse: "I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord." He spoke o£ the value of song as a means of comfort and help, and also of the universality o£ musicthere were varying languages, but the one language known to. all was that of music. He then called upon Mrs. H. Wilton (who had occupied the position of organist for twelve years) to unveil the tablet she had presented.
