Tiie Canary Islands, disguised Germans, Beautiful spies, and tho grey seas where a <3ra.ua of deatii Is played out; these are tho settings ot this emotional film. O'Brien is cast as the captain of the mystery-ship which goes in pursuit of the terror of Allied shipping and succeeds in gotting Its quarry. Into the story comes the slater of the German submarine commander, and with her complications which end in tho destruction of tho raider submnriiio by another. For though the German commander knows that the mystery ship sails under false colours and la by no means without armament, iio does nut expect to be attacked by another under-sea craft. This is the trap Into which lio falls, and for tlio sake of which the crow Of tlio disguised sailing vessel undergoes a shelling that sets the ship on fire and ends in her taking water. Thero aro good supports, and musical numbers by Mr. l'aul T. Cullon are played on the Wurlitzer. Another great British comedy success is announced for early presentation at tho Do Luxo Theatre. "Almost a Honeymoon," an adaptation of tho successful Garrick Theatre hit which ran for nineteen months in London. It Is acclaimed a more outstanding British comedy than either "Tho Middle Watch" or "Compromising Daphne," and is said to havo created new attendance records whorover shown. Its Wellington season should therefore bo awaited with considerable interest. A fine cast of British stage 'and screen celebrities brilliantly Interpret tho sovcral excellent roles.
