ASSOCIATION Of BIBLE CLASSES
There was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Wellington Son Hi and Island Bay Association of Bible Classes in St. James' Presbyterian Hall on Saturday evening. The president, Mr. AY. R. Hibburt, was in the chair. The annual report and balancesheet showed a year of progress and good work. The outstanding events were the combined rally in July, at which the Rev. W. R. Mikxe was the speaker; the sunrise hilltop prayer service in March (held simultaneously with several other groups on the hills of Wellington); and the demonstration concert in March. A resolution of appreciation of the secretary's work was carried with acclamation. The following officers were appointed: — President, Mr. H. A. Harris (Berhamporc Baptist); vice-president, Mrs. Dunn (St. James' Presbyterian); and secretary-treas-urer, Mr. A. Lowe (Church of Christ). Social games followed' the business session, and supper and "Auld Lang iSyne" brought an enjoyable evening to a close*.
