Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Johnson have arrived in Wellington from Dunedin for a visit, and are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mrs. B. E. Murphy, Kclliurn, has returned from a visit to Waipukurau and Napier. Mrs. Olphert, Lyttelton, lias arrived for a visit to the North Island. Miss M. Bruce, Hokitika, who has been visiting Christchurch, has arrived in Wellington. Miss Booth, Christchurch, is the guest of Miss Doris Pow, Wellington. Miss Wheeler, Wellington, who has been visiting friends in the South Island, returned North yesterday. Mrs. H. A. Young, Cashmere Hills, who has been visiting Wellington, returned home on Sunday. Mrs. M. G. C. M'Caul, Wellington, who was among the visitors to Christchurch, has left for the West Coast. Miss Amy Kane has roturned from a brief visit to Napier. . Mrs. Charles Plimmer has returned to AVellington after a visit to Christchurch. • * Miss M. I. Lambie, Wellington., is visiting Timaru. Mrs. G. Webster, Nelson terrace, Timaru, has returned South after a visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Otway, Wellington, are the guests of Mrs. Wiglcy, Timaru. Mrs. Longmore, Wellington, is tho guest of her mother, Mrs. Hadfield, Chvistehurch. Mrs. Charles Nicholls, who has been visiting Mrs. Nixon, Fendalton, Christchurch, has returned to Wellington. Sir Francis and Lady Boys left Auckland by the Eemuera on Saturday for a trip abroad. Miss Betty Lewis and Miss J. Chapman, Wellington, are visitors to Auckland, the latter intending to stay there for six months. Mrs. W. H. Parkes has left Auckland for Taihape, and will visit her sou there, corning later to Wellington, en route for England.
