E. G. Browne, with 90-18—72, won the weekly ball competition, followed by D. S. Mullan, 88-12—76, and Alston, 95-18—77. The Atkins Cup has advanced to the third round. The results of the first round were:—Burns beat Hatfield; Mullan beat Hogg; M'Phail beat Tosswill; Duthie beat Marsden; Ryan beat Davis; Wilson beat AA 7illiamson; M'Kay boat Alston; Maitland beat Ferris. 'In the second round, Mullan beat Burns through default; Duthie beat M'Phail; Ryan beat Wilson; M'Kay beat Maitland; Browne beat Harvey; Duncan beat Barker; Gilbertson beat Jones; and ATallace beat Firth. The following is' the draw for the Pulley Cup:—Hogg v. Maitland; Browne v. Gilbertson; Adamson v. Mullan; Hatfield v. Duncan; Pere v. Duthie; Tosswill v. Wallace; Marsden v. AA'ilson; Jones v. Firth.
