The "Daily Mail's" Constantinople correspondent says that thousands of Turks and Greeks, mostly women., sat up throughout the night awaiting the end of the world. They besieged the observatory wi\h telephone calls .is to whether science supported the rumour that an apocalyptic face would appear in the sky and proclaim in a thunderous voics the Last Judgment.
