Nearly all the reptile skin shoes are in dark browns, greys or blacks, and dull "matt" kid shoes arc showing everywhere. Thero is loss patent leather being shown in the shoo stores than I remember- for many seasons, and when it is seen it is generally used for expensive buckled shoos, which are being made to match bags and belts. With stockings the Jess shine the better, and manufacturers have even acquired this dull surface in the cheaper makes, which is a comforting thought for lean pockets. •■■ '.. HUTH SIBLBT.
