There's a funny little elf lives in the bluebells, She isn't very happy, nor yet sad; And though the bells ring every time the wind blows, They never ring a tune that makes her glad. Sho lives along the borders of the meadows, But if you chance to see her, and you stare. She takes a bluebell, thrusts her head into it. And when you look she simply isn't there!
