NOT YET AT AUCKLAND

After having been delayed on. the coast for IS days the Norwegian yacht Teddy left Orakawa Kay about 5. p.iri. on Sunday in continuation of "her trip from Syjlney to Auckland. When last seen from. Cape Brett before dark the yacht was steering to the eastward and was making very little progress, the wind being light east-north-cast. The weather conditions were not favourable for her making a fast passage to Auckland. - The Teddy's trip from' Sydney has been a very prolonged one. She sailed from that port on 7th April, ana she was three -weeks crossing-tho Tasmau Sea. Since she passed Capo -'Maria Van Dicmen on 28th ,April she- has had to shelter from bad'weather at Mangonui, Whangaroa, arid ■ OrakaWfi. Bay. further delay .occurred owing to the yacFit being blown ashore at Orakawa Bay and having to unload three tons of ballasf, before she could be refloated

and repaired,

The- Teddy is expeefed to arrive lit Auckland-any time now.

The Auckland yacht Kangi is cxpectcd to make a prolonged trip,'and .she has not been reported. Sinco sho left Sydney for Auckland on 2nd May the weather has been very unfavourable. According to reports from ' vessels there has been almost a continuation of strong easterly winds in tho Tasman Sea. The Union Company's cargo steamer Poolta, which arrivod at Auckland from Sydney on Saturday cyoning, experienced continuous head winds and seas all the passage, and the'Bangi was not sighted.
