Thomas, the American boxer, has trained particularly hard for his contest with Donovan on Monday night, and reports from his training quarters suggest that even in scoring, a victory over Blay the American was, not seen tip to the standard ho expects to produce ou Monday night. .Donovan is recognised; as one oil the hardest men to defeat seen' in the ring for years, and good as Th6mas may be. the 'J'aranaki champion is likely to be. in evidence all the time in what should prove an exciting ■ contest. Preliminaries are Higgs v. Parris, Carbin v. Richardson) Woods v. Webb, Jaggcrs v. Arbuthnofc, and Patterson v. Perry. Particular interest attaches to the return contest between J.ligps and Parris. Holders of 5s tickets on 'Monday night will be admitted through the door on the western side, previously used as an exit only.
