NAPIER, This Day. further details of tlio robbery from the Public Works Department officej safe at Murapara, 46 miles from Kotorua, reveal that £2199 was stolen. •, The haul, which was all in notes,' consisted of 309 £5 notes, 604 £1 notes, and 100 10s notes. The notes of the latter denomination were all Bank of New Zealand notes and were miraboipd from C 324901 to ' C 325000 and signed by D. I"1. Keid and C. S. Davy. The actual times between which the daring robbery was effected were 9 p.m. Monday and 4 a.m. yesterday.
