SYNOPSIS OF LAST 48 HOURS,
Under the Influence of an anti-cyclone which has been covering the Dominion, the weather has bee.n fair to fino almost generally during Ihe week-etui. Some showers, however, continued to fall in the East Cape region, and since Sunday night, there has been rain aljout Foveaux Strait and at a. few other places in Otago. The winds have been somewhat variable and light to moderate, but the predominating direction has been northerly.
