LODGE MEETINGS
The fortnightly meeting of Onslow Lodge, No. 128, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held recently, Bro. A. E. Hodgson, N.G. presiding over a good attendance. Before business was proceeded with a motion of s: jpathy was passed, and the lodge stood in silence out of respect to the late Bro. Nind, P.D.D.G.M., P.C.P. Medical refunds were passed for payment and correspondence received. The N.G. gave details of official visits paid since last meeting to Ngatitoa, Belleyue, and Maraenui Lodges. . . The N.G.; Bro. A. S. Cooper, presided ;over the recent meetiug of Bellevue Lodge, No. 126, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., there being, a 'very large gathering of membera and visitors. A .uotion of sympathy was passed to the relatives of the late Bro. J. Nind, P.D.D.G.M., P.C.P. Sick pay and doctors' refunds were passed for payment. Two friends were proposed for membership. The half-yearly installation of officers was carried out. by the D.D.G.M., Bro. G. F. Kiidkin, assisted by P.G. Bros. Maley, H. J. Eooney. H. Hardham, B. Havill, AY. J. Jarvis, E. Phillips, L. Callaghan, and others. The following officers were installed: J.P.G., Bro. Cooper; N.G., Bro. R. Macdonald; V.G., Bro. Turner; recording secretary, Bro. E. Petersen; financial secretary, Bro. C. P. Gandy; treasurer, Bio. H. M. Brady; warden, Bro. Pinhall, sen.; conductor, Bro. A. M'Phee; chaplain, Bro. L. Grimes; R.S.N.G., Bro. S. Kay;' L.S.N.G., Bro. Little; R.S.V.G., Bro. N. Cotton; L.S.V.G., Bro. B. Pell; ;R..5.5., Bro. Horn; L.S.S., Bro. Pinhall, jun.; 1.G., Bro. H. AY. Jones; 0.G., Bro. C. H. Breach. At the end of the installation Bro. Budkin presented the membership shield to the lodge, and «c afterwards presented a jewel to Bro. H. XL. Brady, winner of the junior ritual competition. The lodge presented Bro. Tanner with a jewel for having, lntrodiced the greatest number of new, members during the term. Fraternal greetings were reciprocated between . the lodge, and visitors present from AVildey, Onslow,' Southern Cross ' Ngatitoa, Maraenui, Heretaunga, Cleveland.-Zlalandia, and Ngatiawa Lodges and * from Port ' Nicholson Encampment. At the conclusion of the meeting the P.G. degree-was conferred upon several Oddfellows entitled to the honour.
