POSITION IN LONDON
PRICES MAINTAINED
(Received 30th April, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 20th April. Offerings at the wool sales to-day were 9604 bales, including 3121 bales New Zealand. About 7920 bales were sold. There was a good offering of all descriptions, which met with steady general competition. Opening prices were fully maintained.
The New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Co., Ltd., London: "Wool sales opened 28th April, and prices compared with last. London series, merinos, fine crossbreds, %d to Id; medium crossbreds, coarse crossbreds, Id to l%d; scoureds, Id to VAA; slipc, Id cheaper."
