The Easter championship, which was delayed by floods at Easter time, was finalised during the week-end. The matches resulted as "under:—ln the first round, Burns beat Butler, 3 and 2; Brockett beat Herd, 1 up; Mehaffey beat Page, 2 and -1; Murray beat Harrower, 5 and 4. In'the second round, Brockett beat Mehaffey, 4 and 3; Murray beat Burns, 5 and 4. In the final, Murray beat Brockett, 1 'up.The final was very keenly contested, the issue being in doubt right up to the last green, some golf being produced by both finalists. A 36-hole stroke competition was also played, the winner, V. Hay, off the 24 mark, turning in tho excellent net score of 127, 9 strokes better than the bogey of the course.
