WANGANUI NOMINATIONS

The nominations received for the Wanganui Jockey Club's Winter Meeting, to bo held on Thursday and Saturday, 14th a.nd 16th May, must be considered tery satisfactory, and, gi?ea anything HKo decent conditions as far us weather and public support are concerned, the club should come out on the right side. For the Wangonui Steeplechase, which this ■year figures on the programme for the second, day of the meeting, the entries number 18, compared with 14 last year and 17/ he year before. The Century Hurdles, retained/ for tlie first day, has attracted, 18 nominations, whereas last year 15 were entered, aad in 1929 19.
