(Received 28th April, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 27th- ApriL • The Tower of London is gradually sliding into the [ Thames, declares a report of the National Physical' Laboratory. The Tower,' which is built on slippery blue clay, is moving at the rate of a twenty-fifth of an inch a year.
