FAIRIEL'S EASTER EGG
, Fairiel jumped out of bed and put "ohlier gown of fairy cobwebs, and ran to her breakfast of fairy cakes and dew. Of course, Fairicl has to work. So aftor her breakfast she changed into a. ■oßiortaVs dress and flew to "The Fairy King" in Willis street. Postie eamc, and just poured out letters for her, out of his bag. "My word," he' gasped,"what a load! ..But what's' ; this?" He pulled out a box addressed ,to "Fairiel;" Faixiel jumped up from her chair and said, "Oh, what is Jt? .'.Who's it from?" She bombarded Pos^ie with questions till lie waß ■ pearly exhausted. la her excitement she lore open the fcox, lifted straw and Sackings, ondloand behold! There was Jhe sweetest' little Easter egg she had gver seen!■ A dear little chick"pnlling % cart ok which was an' Easter egg and. % chick on-top arid one behind. ..". "Oh, how lovely! I "wonder who fec.nt it?" Ah! There was a little note. On' it was written, "To dear Fairiel, Trishing her a happy Easter. From Fluffy Chic." When work was over, Fairiel flew home with her precious ■bundle.' "Oh, mother, just look'what a wee elf sent me to-day! Isn't .it a beauty?" "Yes, dear; you have got kind-heart-ted elves in your Ring." ' "We will have, a party to-night to celebrate this occasion, and Fluffy Chic will come." At midnight the moon shono down on a pretty group of fairies dancing and, singing, while Fairiel and her elves, including Fluffy Chic and the egg, looked on at the pretty scene. , Presently the dance stopped and all went to enjoy the feast. Every one toasted the. egg, and remarked how delicious it tasted, and amid cheers and joyful cries Fairiel led "Fluffy Chic" to her home. , "FLUFFY CHIC" (12). Hafaitni; , ■ "A liOVBLY BOOK."
