To-morrow is being observed as Poppy Dayj and a band of willing helpers will mske an early start with the sale of popjiies. For the first time since the inauguration of Poppy Day the emblems widen will be on sale have been made, in New Zealand by disabled retunied soldiers, and the whole of- the proceeds are used for the purpose of providing work for unemployed returned soldiers during the winter months. Thl association hopes that, a good respons^ will be made by the Wellington publi'j.
