ANZAC DAY PARADE
(To the Editor.) l Sir,—The suggestion that returned soldiers parade by_ units is I think an excellent one, and is, I feel sure, the reason why the parades in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland especially are comparatively a greater success than in Wellington. All that I have spoken to think the com-
~ing parade will be the best ever -held in Wellington. It is to be hoped that returned soldiers who -were shy of parading on previous occasions will show some of the regimental pride and esprit de corps exhibited when on Gallipoli or in France, Egypt, Palestine, and other fields of action and line up on their respective markers on Anzac Day, 1931, and parade as a tribute of respect tp their mates who '"went West." I sincerely hope that members of the Ne\v Zealand Rifle Brigade will turn out in great force and uphold the reputation of the "Dinks" in France. The.Third Brigade could-always be relied upon to do their, job in the Army, and the same spirit should animate, the1 Wellington ex-members to rally, to. the support of the local R.S.A. in the good work being done for help of the great number of exservice men. of; all units who are disabled and in distress due to. war service.—l am, GtC" ; ■■■".";' Ist BATT. DINK.
