SCHOOL ELECTIONS
HUTT VALLEY CANDIDATES
Thirteen nominations have been received for the Petone West School Committee election. They are Messrs. S. G. Townsend, H. C. Pisk, B. A. Sagisson, A- H. Bead, G. W. Cairns, A. H, Hadley, P. G. Mehaney, J. W. Johnson, M. Il'. Nicholls, C. W. Peterson, A. Q. Steffensen, E. G. Harris, and A. E. Heron. Only seven nominations have been received for the Petone General School Committee, and it is hoped that the other two required will be forthcoming before the election. Those nominated are Messrs. IT. L. Anderson, J. A. Ash, H. Hcpworth, N. Mills, O. Silbery, L. CVAVray, and the Bey. J. C. Loan. Tor the Wilford School Committee the following six nominations have been received:—Messrs. T. Cornwall, V. A. Noble, 11. Martin, G. Fairbairn, "W. Taplin, and H. Morgan. It is expected that more than the seven nominations needed will be received, so that an election will*be'necessary.
