(From Our Own Correspondent.) NELSON, This Day. The Nelson College Old Boys'. Association carried a, resolution that, the outstanding succors, of the college . for seventy-five years justifies, continuation, of the present scheme of control and docs not warrant legislative intorfcronce. The association most emphatically protests against tho inclusion in the Finance Bill of the provision giving the Governor-General power. to abolish tho council of. governors' as at present constituted, in effect annulling tho foundation Act of the college.
