PICTURE PRESENTED TO PARLIAMENT
The announcement that Messrs. S. C. Ormond and A. T. Carroll, on behalf of the Pakcha and Maori residents of the Wairoa district, had donated to Parliament a, picture of the late Sir, James > Carroll was made in the House of Eepresentatives by Mr. Speaker yesterday afternoon. _ 4 , On the motion of tlie Prime Minister, the House decided to express high appreciation of the gift and to tender sincere thanks to the donors.
