A denial that the Federal Farm Board had decided to dispose of its holdings of wheat in Europe for what they would bring (reported in the Trade and Finance column to-day), has been, issu* ed by Mr. James C. Stone,, the chair« man, who explains that the contemplate ed wheat sales do not comprise the" en« tiro holdings, but only 35 million.' bushels of-so-called "out of position wheat," stored at Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific North-West seaports as announced earlier in the season.
