MR. CLIMIE APPOINTED

Out of over 50 applications for the position of engineer to the Napier Borough Council, Mr. H. B. Clhnie, B.Se., M.1.E.E., A.M.LC.E.,' has been, appointed, and leaves Wellington, to take up his appointment by Ist May.

A son of the late Mr. H. W. Climie, who wasa well-known civil engineer in Taranaki and Hawkes;Bay, Mr. Climie has directed a large number of important works, including the installation of water and drainage systems in Levin, Baetihi, Hastings, Havelock North, Foxton, and Ta.uranga. He also was in charge of hydro-electric construction work in Wairarapa, Taranaki, aod at Golden Bay.
