TO-NIGHT'S MEETINGS

Tho independent Mayoral candidate, i Mr. M. F. Luckie, will address the dec- j tors at Khandallah to-morrow ■ night, and not to-night, as was published in error this morning. To-night at 8 the electors of Newtown and Bernampore will be addressed by Civic League candidates for the City Council and Hospital Board at St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, and Masonic Hall, Bcrhampore. To-morrow night J they will speak at the Public Hall, I Miramar, and St. Anne's Hall, North-, land. ' . ! Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, the Civic League and Batepayers' Association candidate for the Mayoralty, will address three meetings this evening, at St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, where Sir John Luke will preside, at Berhampore, where Mr. J. O. Shorland will be in the chair, and at Ockenden's Hall, Lyall Bay. Labour Party meetings will be held this evening at Luxford street, when Messrs. E. M'Keen, M.P., P. M. Butler, A. Parlane, M. Walsh, J. M. Collins, Mrs. B. Collins, and Mrs. G. E. Love will be the speakers. On Thursday evening at the Kilbirnie Post Office Messrs. J. Glover, M. Walsh, A. Parlane, E. A. Dahl, and Mrs. J. Fraser will speak, and at Lyall Bay (tram shelter), Messrs. J. Bead, W. H. Sadd, P. M. Butler, Mrs. M. J. Bentley, and Mrs. B. Mitchell will givo addresses.
