Mrs. Lorimer, Christchurch, is tho guest of -her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. 11. Bosc, Clifton terrace. Mrs. J.. T. Bobinson and Miss Eve Robinson have returned to Lower Hutt from Auckland.
Mrs. and Miss Nonio Griffin, Auckland, who have been visiting friends at-Hataitai, have returned North. Mr. and Mrs. C. Marchbanks, Napier, have taken a house at Pharazyn street, Lower Hutt.. Mrs. J. G. Coates left yesterday for a visit to Auckland. Miss Mavis Giesen, Botorua, is the guest of Mrs. H. S. Poarce, Karori. .Miss Marguerite Slornan, England, is visiting New Zealand in order to be present at the wedding of her brother to Miss Una Curtis. Mr. and Mrs. J. Nelson returned to Pahiatua yesterday after spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs. T.A. Duncan and Miss J. Duncan, I-lunterville, are visiting Wellington and staying at the Boyal Oak. Mrs. 8.. Wright and two daughters loft yesterday by the Makura for San Francisco,' en route for Los Angeles. Mrs. W. G. Cooper, Karori, is returning from Nelson this week. Mrs. Glutton, Wellington, is the- guest of Mrs. B. Gilbert, Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Leuch, London, are visiting. Wellington and staying at the Boyal. Oak Hotel.
Mrs. Jaqucs-Blackmore and her (laughter, Lower Hutt, have left for a visit to Hawkes Bay. Miss E. Caughey, Auckland, is a visitor to Wellington; and is at the Boyal Oak Hotel. Mrs. J. L. Phillips, Clifton terrace, and Mrs. T. A. Munt have left for a month's tour in the South Island. Mrs. Eonald Orbell, Oamaru, who has been visiting Wellington, has left to visit Mrs. E. Scott, Timaru. Mrs. G. Shirtcliffe, Wellington, who has been.visiting Timaru, haß gone on to Invercargill. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Lnke, Wellington, are visiting Christchurch.. Miss Mabel Jollands has returned to Wellington after a visit to Mrs. M. A. Raymond, Timaru. Mrs. H. E. Aplin, Wellington, leaves this evening for a visit to the South. Mrs. Howard Dodgshun has returned to Dunedin after a brief visit to Wellington. .
Mrs. T. Lisle, Wadestown, is the guest of her sisters, the Misses Barth, Musselburgh, 'Dunedin.
