He considered that jno notice had been given by the defendant when he interviewed the plaintiff early in October, and the first intimation she had received that her services would not be required was by a letter she received early in January. This was.not the typo of letter one would expect, from the head of a business college. Leaving the letter aside, however > and taking the question whether notice had been given at the conversation in October, he preferred to accept the plaintiff's evidence; pn. this point, and that the arrangement' then' 'come to was that the teachers should take two months' holiday without pay.
