(.Received 21st April, 11 a.m.) DABTO, This Day. \ The university airman Fairbairn, trying out his 'plane, landed on a distant beach and was unable to rise in the sand. Visiting aviators became apprehensive, searched, located him, and helped him to move the aeroplane to safety from the rising tide. He will probably not get away from Darwin to-day.
