KINGSFORD SMITH GOING

WITH SOUTHERN CROSS

(Received 21st April, 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, 20th April. Air-Commodore Kingsford Smith leaves to-morrow in the Southern Cross for the air mail at Timor. He expects to be back at Darwin with the mail next Saturday. His co-pilot is G. Allan. It is likely that tho Southern Cross will take the outgoing air mail to Timor for transference to the second Imperial Airways machine en route for Australia.
