A well-attended meeting. of ladies was held at Kelburn, at the home ■of Mrs. Sol Myers, to forward the candidature of Miss Amy Kane for,the City Council and Mrs. K. Preston, Mrs. M'Vicar, and Mrs. E. J. Moore for the Hospital Board.
