, — ~*. The. annual banquet of tho Brooklyn Cricket Club was held on Saturday evcn,ing,. Mr.'K. A. Wright, M.P., the president, was in the chair, and there was nit" attendance of about one hundred members and visitors, A review of the year showed that the senior and intermediate A boys were ■ successful- in winning their respective ! grades, Pragncll and Boycs, of the intermediate A team, won the bowling and batting average medals. The third-grade team was at the lower end of the ladder, but,the junior D team was second in its competition. Items were contributed by Messrs. Laycock, Clift, tiifford, Corbett, Wallace, and Jack Thompson. Community singing was led by Mr. J. Thompson, Mr. C. Wallace being at the piano.
