Bedell, a mechanic, living a* j 17, Chilka street, received a. severe, elee* j trieshock. ] .lie was taken to tho Hoipital sufferiiig^'burns to Ma.ha Ms.. ; George Brown, a drain layer,-, jwa* ' struck by a motor.-cai while-, he. wan ; working in a trench, on the liyall Bay, j parade shortly •••after.:- 9- o'clock ; thw ; morning, .and received severe injuries • to the head. He was- taken to Hos-. pital by the City Ambulance, but tho authorities report that the extent of his. ■ injuries lias not yet been ascertained., A punctured wound- to the forehead . was suffered by B. Stowart, a 'labourer, of 261, Willis street,, as the result, of! being struck by the starting handle o.€ . a motor-lorry. The accident occurred , at Endeavour, street, ' -Lyall. Bay, and , the injured man was' removed to Hos-*: pital by the Gifcy ■ Ambulance, -
