The much-discussed meeting betwee* Whitlow and Donovan is to take pla» on Wednesday of next week, and from the interest being displayed indication* are that the Boxing Stadium accommoda? tion will be fully taxed to provide seats for all who are looking forward to Beemff the two in action. The plan for preferential booking vill open on Thursday, and for general booking on Friday. Donovan was to have met Hughes at Auckland tonight, but owing to illness the latter w unable to fulfil his engagement. Tba Taranaki champion arrived in Wellington to-day for the purpose of completing hi« training to meet Whitlow.
