CROSSBREDS EASIER
BRADFORD TOPS PRICES
LONDON, 9th April. The Bradford tops market holiday quotations, compared with those previously cabled, are as follows: —•
Prices for Merinos are maintained, but crossbreds are a shade easier. Ah will be seen, they are %d down on rates just before the holidays.
Messrs. AVright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having received cable advice from their Bradford agents regarding the tops market reading as follows: "A few topmakers have lowered quotations for Merinos. Fine and medium crossbreds a shade weaker, coarse crossbreds %d down. Users of tops are well covered for some time to come, and are keeping out of the market as much as possible. Very little business passing, but consumption on old contracts is well maintained."
