STRIKERS RETURN

Inquiries mad© to-day by a "Post" reporter elicited the information that practically all those relief workers who went on. strike last week as a protest against the new relief rates of pay had returned to work to-day. A warning was published on Saturday to the effect that unless the nien returned to work by to-day they would have to stand down and re-register before becoming eligible for further employment. The great majority of the strikers availed themselves of the. opportunity of returning to their jobs today without being penalised.
