POSITION AT NAPIER

{By Telegraph.—.Press Association.) NAPIER, 31st March. Before the earthquake 2159 scholars attended the Napier primary schools; they were accommodated in 47 rooms. To-day the total scholars number 101S, and they are accommodated "in fifteen temporary rooms. A great influx of scholars is expected after Easter, but in spite of this the Education Board asserts that tho only extra accommodation in view is six rooms. The Postal Department took over the Hastings Street School, and the board desires the Department to provide tho cost of a building to replace that school, but complains that a promise to that effect by the Secretary of the Post Office is not being carried out.
