Yon Luckner was later captured with Jive of his crew in the Cook Islands, and brought to Motuihi Island, Auckland, as a prisoner of war, escaping from there, .lie was recaptured at Curtis Island in the Kerniadccs. and he spent fourteen days in jMount Eden civil prison after his recapture, and was afterwards sent to liipa Island, near Lyltelton, for six months before going to Motuihi again, und leaving Wellington in about May, 1919, ou the Willoehra for Germany.
