DISPERSED BY POLICE
(Received 31st March,' 2 p.m.)
LONDON, 30th March,
"The Times" correspondent at Berlin says that religious, opinioa throughout Germany is deeply concerned at the Communists proposing under Moscow's orders to hold anti-Easter meetings. The Minister of the Interior no-vr states that a recent decree empowers the prevention of demonstration* Simultaneously the Minister urged religionists to modify'their attitude to* wards their opponents. The decree was first used to-day, when a polieo official summarily stopped a meeting of the Communist Proletarian Freethinkers' League in Berlin, whereupon a member of the1 Communist con* cert party appeared dressed as a priest and performed a. step dance. The attendance of several thousands at first uproariously resented the police inter* fcrence, but later dispersed quietly.
