PROTEST AND REASON

DUNEDIN, This Day.
The Otago Hospital Board has sent telegrams to the Otago members of both Housoa of Parliament asking for their support in protesting against the reduction in the Government subsidy, pointing out that the reduction means increases in levies on the, local authorities and ■■ generally the Government relieving itself at tho. expense of the ratepayers. .
