"THE DARKEST HOUR."

■»■ ■ At the. Taranaki Street Methodist Church, last evening the annual Easter music was given .by the choir, assisted by Miss Myra Saivyer and Messrs. R. R. Orr, R. Hill, and C. W. SvenEen as soloists. A. large congregation listened with attention to the rendering of Harold Moore's cantata, "The Darkest Hour." This work, which is a very beautiful one, was reverently interpreted, the atmosphere being well realised. The excellent work of the soloists was equalled by that of an efficient choir. The male chorus was very effective. Mr. H. Temple White was tlie organist and choirmaster.
