BARBER'S SUICIDE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CAETEETON, This Day. Bon aid Jack Gayfer, aged 41, hairdresser and tobacconist, hanged liimsoll' in his saloon this morning. He appeared at work as usual, and at 8.15 was conversing with a friend. He then shut and locked the shop and hanged himself with a strop from tho cross beam of a partition.
Xhrec-qu.-ivlors of an hour later anxiuly arose, and tho polie.o burst into Ihe promises and found tho body. A doctor w;is sent for, and artificial respiration w;is tried without avail.
