GIRL BADLY BURNED

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CARTERTON, This Day. Boris Rcndle, aged 20, of tfeatherston, while, working in the kitchen at the residence of Miss Card, Mayoress, this morning had her clothes take fire. Her screams brought Mr. Card to tho rescue. He quickly smothered the flames with a bath towel, and the girl was taken to Dr. Sharp's private hospital, where her wounds were dressed. She was then transferred to the Masterton Hospital. Her condition ia critical.
